Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup plum sauce
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup scallion, finely sliced
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper flakes
  • 2 pounds beef flank steak

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine marinade ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Add flank steak and refrigerate overnight.

  • Step 2: Remove steak and reserve marinade. Place steak in center of cooking grate and grill for 12 to 16 minutes, turning once during grilling. Occasionally brush lightly with remaining marinade.

  • Step 3: Remove steak when done and cover with foil for 5-7 minutes. Slice thinly.

  • Step 4: Serve over rice or a bed of greens, or in a wrap.
