  • 2 pounds beef round steak (cubed)

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 cans (14.5 ounces) tomatoes (with green chiles, I used a mild version)
  • 13 ounces green chiles, chopped (I used a hot version)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large soup pot over medium high heat brown the beef in a small amount of oil and then add in the onion and garlic.

  • Step 2: Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer and cook covered for 3 hours or until beef is tender.
