Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup salsa verde (homemade or store bought; I used recipe #10023)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain yogurt)
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • Hot sauce, to taste (I like it spicy 1-2 teaspoons)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dip or Sauce ... Add everything to a small bowl and mix. I used RecipeZazz #10023 by Bergy for the salsa verde.

  • Step 2: For a bit 'more' tangy dip; add 2/3 cup salsa verde and 1/3 cup sour cream. For a creamier dip, add equal parts, salsa verde and sour cream. And, you can always use a plain yogurt too; just as good.

  • Step 3: It's that simple. I like to refrigerate 30-60 minutes before serving to let all the flavors develop. ENJOY!! As mentioned. A great dipping sauce for fried foods (vegetables or seafood). But, also good on grilled fish or chicken; and, perfect with any Mexican dish.
