Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 10 ounces cremini mushrooms (trimmed and sliced)
  • 10 ounces peas (sugar snap peas, trimmed, about 3 cups)
  • 3 green onions (white and light green parts, cut into 2-inch pieces. About 1 1/2 cups)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • Red pepper flakes (1 pinch, for garnish, optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Warm oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  • Step 2: Add mushrooms, snap peas and green onions and cook stirring constantly, until snap peas are bright green and mushrooms have released their liquid, 3 to 4 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.

  • Step 4: Add soy sauce and cook for 3 to 4 minutes more, until snap peas are crisp-tender.

  • Step 5: Serve. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if desired.
