Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup butter (I would NOT use margarine since it`s made with oil and the fudge may not set)
  • 1/2 cup milk (I use whole milk)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups brown sugar (light packed)
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (sifted)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Butter an 8x8 inch pan; set aside.

  • Step 2: Place butter, milk and salt in a medium saucepan, stir until the butter has melted.

  • Step 3: Add brown sugar, stirring until mixture is at a medium boil. Immediately reduce heat to low, set timer for 2 minutes and continue to boil for 2 minutes stirring very frequently (WATCH CLOSELY, the mixture boils up really high!).

  • Step 4: Remove from heat, then vigorously mix in peanut butter and vanilla until the peanut butter is completely mix in, about 1 minute.

  • Step 5: Pour the hot mixture into the confectioners' sugar and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon until smooth and combined, about 2 minutes.

  • Step 6: Immediately pour fudge into pan.

  • Step 7: Chill until firm, about 1 hour (I put mine in the fridge to firm up quicker).

  • Step 8: Cut into 1-inch squares.
