  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves, whole
  • 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small yellow onion, cubed
  • 1 medium sweet potato, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl toss pork with mustard.

  • Step 2: In a large resealable plastic bag, combine flour and sugar; add pork and shake to coat.

  • Step 3: In a large sauce pan pour oil and cook pork, onions and garlic until pork is browned in all sides.

  • Step 4: Stir in broth. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

  • Step 5: Stir in sweet potatoes. Return to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.

  • Step 6: Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
