Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cups part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded (divided)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (low-sugar pizza sauce, I use Ragu)
  • Canadian bacon, diced
  • Pepperoni (low-fat)
  • Turkey pepperoni (optional)
  • Onion
  • Green pepper
  • Mushroom
  • Tomato (optional)
  • Your favorite pizza seasoning, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, brown the ground beef; drain.

  • Step 3: Place meat in a mixing bowl and mix with 1 cup of mozzarella.

  • Step 4: Spread the mixture into a circle on a round pizza pan or baking stone (I prefer the stone); and top with 1/2 cup pizza sauce.

  • Step 5: Top with the rest of the mozzarella, optional toppings and seasonings.

  • Step 6: Bake for about 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.
