Step 1: Drain pineapple reserving 2 tablespoons juice.
Step 2: Combine brown sugar and butter in a 13 x 9- inch pan.
Step 3: Arrange pineapple slices in pan--place a cherry halve in each slice.
Step 4: Cut side up in center of each slice.
Step 5: Sprinkle with reserved juice and nuts.
Step 6: Combine cake mix Dream Whip envelope eggs and water in large mixer bowl for 4 minutes. Carefully spoon over pineapple.
Step 7: Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until top springs back when pressed.
Step 8: Let stand for 10 minutes, then invert and let stand 1 minute then remove from pan.
