  • 1 quart orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar ( can use more sugar for a sweeter taste, but remember the ice cream is sweet!)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch cloves
  • 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 1 quart ginger ale
  • Nutmeg, for sprinkling

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl whisk eggs until frothy.

  • Step 2: Mix in orange and lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.

  • Step 4: Chill if not serving right away.

  • Step 5: Just before serving pour in the ginger ale, then sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
