Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound ground turkey (extra lean)
  • 40 grams avocado (1/4 of a medium avocado)
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoon bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 bread buns (hamburger buns)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mash the avocado with the parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs and mayonnaise.

  • Step 2: Add the garlic powder, oregano and ground turkey; mix well and form into 2 patties.

  • Step 3: Drizzle a non-stick skillet with just enough oil to cover the bottom and bring to medium-high heat.

  • Step 4: Add the patties, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  • Step 5: Cook flipping once, until cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, about 6 to 7 minutes per side.

  • Step 6: Place the cooked patties on bottom bun, top as desired.

  • Step 7: Enjoy!
