  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (20 ounce) tomato sauce (optional)
  • MEATBALLS
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 yellow onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • EGG
  • 2 large eggs (scrambled - optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Start sauce simmering on low.

  • Step 2: Mix meatball ingredients together and make walnut sized meatballs. Fry in covered pan.

  • Step 3: When browned add to sauce and cook for 10 more minutes. If you want to add eggs, beat eggs and pour on top of sauce; cover and cook 5 more minutes until eggs are set.
