Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup dry rice
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 1/2 cups tomatoes, chopped (canned)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons yellow onions, grated
  • 2 1/2 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix meat, add egg milk, add rice and salt and 1 t chili powder and grated onion and garlic. Form 1 1/2 inch meatballs.

  • Step 2: In stockpot, combine 1 t chili powder tomatoes water 1/2 c chopped onion; bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Drop meat balls into boiling stock; cover simmer 1 1/2 hours.
