Step 1: Peel the onion and cut off the ends, slice it into four rounds.
Step 2: Mix together the oil and oregano and brush over both sides of the onion rounds.
Step 3: Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place them over direct heat of a pre-heated, medium-high grill.
Step 4: Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, until you have a few char marks.
Step 5: Carefully turn the rounds over and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
