Step 1: Combine all relish ingredients in a small bowl, mix well, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Step 2: Combine ground beef, teriyaki sauce, pepper sauce, and garlic powder in a large bowl.
Step 3: Mix well and shape into 8 sausage shapes.
Step 4: Place on a plate and sprinkle with beef base.
Step 5: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. This step is optional, but highly recommended.
Step 6: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown burgers, about 3 minutes.
Step 7: Add cooking ingredients, stir gently, cover and cook about 10 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness is reached.
Step 8: To serve, place a burger on each lettuce leaf. Place a spoonful of relish on each burger, and top with 1-2 basil leaves.
Step 9: Drizzle some of the pan juices over the meat. Roll meat up in lettuce leaves and enjoy!
