Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Baked angel food cake (one cake)
  • 1 pint milk (or 2 cups milk)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 packages (3 ounces each) strawberry Jell-O gelatin
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (or 1 pint whipping cream)
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil the milk sugar eggs and cornstarch for 5 minutes in a double boiler.

  • Step 2: Mix the jello with the boiling water. Add the custard mixture over the jello. Stir until the jello is dissolved. Add the crushed pineapple. Let all get quite stiff.

  • Step 3: Add 1 pint whipping cream (measure before whipping).

  • Step 4: Make a big angel food cake in loaf pan (I buy a big angel food in store ).

  • Step 5: After its cut in two the length wise put the filling in between and on top.
