Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 ounces sliced bacon (2 slices, diced)
  • 1 scallion, diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh)
  • 300 grams sauerkraut (2 cups, drained)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed ,optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry bacon, dont drain grease.

  • Step 2: Add scallion, sauerkraut and mushrooms.

  • Step 3: Add caraway if you wish.

  • Step 4: Add water, simmer (dont allow to run dry).

  • Step 5: In 30 minutes(I didn't cook this long because of canned mushrooms).

  • Step 6: Add sour cream, mix.
