  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

How to Make

  • Step 1: Proof yeast in water. Add sugar; mix in egg; add melted butter. Add pineapple juice.

  • Step 2: Add salt to flour. Add flour to sugar mixture. Knead for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Let rise until doubled.

  • Step 4: Make into rolls.

  • Step 5: Let rise until doubled. I used an 8 inch pan.

  • Step 6: Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes until done (browned).
