Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound Italian sausage (4 links)
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced (cut in halves and sliced)
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 yellow pepper, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cube (12 grams) vegetable bouillon
  • 1 bay leaf

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil sausages in water for 5 minutes to get rid of some fat.

  • Step 2: Heat the oil in a large skillet and sauté onions and garlic until onions are translucent.

  • Step 3: Add peppers and sauté for 5 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add tomatoes, water, and bouillon and laurel leaf. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add sausage and cook for 20 minutes.
