Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds whole roasting chicken
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil chicken. Debone chicken saving broth. Put in bottom of 9x13 dish.

  • Step 2: Add some broth with cornstarch added. Add cream of chicken soup, salt and pepper and celery salt.

  • Step 3: Mix remaining ingredients into biscuit dough. The dough will be stick drop by spoonfuls onto sauce i needed to add a little more flour because i used huge egg,darlene had banties, so had smaller eggs. Add to top of chicken, this overflowed for me so put pan under.

  • Step 4: Bake at 400 degrees until biscuits are brown about 30 minutes.
