The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin, cut into strips about 1 inch wide
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak wooden skewers in water to prevent them from burning.

  • Step 2: Combine all the ingredients except for pork together in a plastic bag.

  • Step 3: Add pork strips and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

  • Step 4: Remove pork from bag and weave strips onto skewers.

  • Step 5: Warm up the grill and lightly grease the cooking surface with a bit of oil.

  • Step 6: Grill the skewers, brushing with the marinade after turning them for the first time.

  • Step 7: Grill until the meat is browned and sizzling and still tender.

  • Step 8: Serve alone or with peanut sauce.
