Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • GLAZE
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put all ingredients in a bowl in order given.

  • Step 2: Mix until smooth.

  • Step 3: Add walnuts (optional).

  • Step 4: Pour into greased 9X13 pan and bake @350F for about 30 - 35 minutes or tester comes out clean. (do not overbake)

  • Step 5: Mix all ingredients for the glaze and pour over brownies while still hot.
