  • 10 bacon slices
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 1 pound beef liver (sliced thin)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon season salt
  • 1 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook bacon; remove bacon and set aside.

  • Step 2: Put sliced onion in the same frying pan and fry a little.

  • Step 3: Mix the flour and season salt together. Dredge liver in the flour mixture.

  • Step 4: Move onion over to the side.

  • Step 5: Add floured liver to the fry pan. Fry until brown on one side.

  • Step 6: Flip liver over and place onion on top.

  • Step 7: Brown on other side.

  • Step 8: Add 1 cup water; cover and simmer on low heat until gravy forms, about 20 minutes.
