  • 8 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Angel food cake, cubed (one cake)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt chocolate chips over double boiler. Add water sugar and egg yolks, beat thoughly. Cool

  • Step 2: Fold in the whipped cream and the egg whites.

  • Step 3: In well buttered 9x12 pan place a layer of half the cake. Top with 1/2 the chocolate mixture. Scatter the remaining cake, then spread with the rest of the chocolate mixture.

  • Step 4: Cover with wax paper and chill 24 hours.
