Step 1: Place peas in strainer and run warm water over until thawed, about 2 minutes; drain.
Step 2: Combine the peas, cumin, red onion and garlic in food processor or blender.
Step 3: Process until smooth.
Step 4: Add lemon juice and olive oil and process just to blend.
Step 5: Taste and season with red pepper flakes if using and lemon pepper.
Step 6: Blend for a few more seconds and transfer to a serving bowl.
Step 7: Refigerate until ready to use.
Step 8: Serve with crackers, chips or fresh veggies.
