Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 halibut fish (cheeks)
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3 teaspoons cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoons fresh ginger,finely chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whisk together the orange juice, cilantro, ginger, garlic, soy, sesame oil and chili flakes,

  • Step 2: Set aside

  • Step 3: Heat the oilive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat

  • Step 4: Sear the cheeks on each side until golden (apprx 3 minutes per side)

  • Step 5: Pour in the orange sauce, bring to a boil

  • Step 6: Reduce heat, continue to cook until the sauce has thickened and the cheeks flake easily

  • Step 7: Serve pouring the sauce over the cheeks
