  • 5 pounds beef short ribs
  • MARINADE
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 3 green onion, sliced
  • 1/3 cup chopped garlic (no mistakes, 1/3 cup chopped)
  • Hot sauce (OPTIONAL, use how much you want)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine all marinade ingredients in an extra-large heavy ziploc plastic bag. Add ribs and refrigerate 24 hours.

  • Step 2: Combine all ingredients and marinate cross cut short ribs for 5 + hours.

  • Step 3: Grill until desired doneness. Sugar will burn, so WATCH CLOSELY!
