Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound pork tenderloin (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 6 ounces sugar snap peas
  • 1 yellow onion (quartered)
  • 2 baby bok choy heads (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce (VH garlic hoisin sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (I use VH reduced sodium)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh shredded ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 140 grams cooked ramen noodles
  • Pinch red pepper flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, mix together the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and garlic; add pork and marinate for half an hour.

  • Step 2: Bring vegetable oil to high heat in a wok or large skillet; add pork mixture and cook until pork is cooked through.

  • Step 3: Add onion and snap peas and stir-fry until tender but still crisp.

  • Step 4: Add the bok choy and cook for another couple of minutes, until softened.

  • Step 5: Add the chicken broth and the ramen noodles along with the hot pepper flakes.

  • Step 6: Heat through and serve.
