Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups broth, vegetable
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 can (19 ounce) beans (mixed beans, 549ml)
  • 1 can (518ml) tomatoes (fire roasted tomatoes)
  • 1 bell pepper (ribs and seeds removed, diced)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place all the ingredients except for the beans in a large pot and bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for a couple of hours.
