Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs (or mixture of your favorites)
  • 3 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 1 cup water (or more to make dough smooth after first few minutes of kneading)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put all ingredients in machine in manufacturers recommended order. Program for knead (or dough setting). No need to use rise setting.

  • Step 2: After machine has finished kneading, remove dough to a floured work space and let rest for 10 minutes, covered with a clean towel.

  • Step 3: Roll out dough to fit pan and proceed with your favorite pizza recipe.

  • Step 4: To make a cheese pizza, top with sauce and cheese and bake at 475F. for 15-20 minutes.
