Step 1: Rough chop the bacon and toss into a food processor; process until ground and starts to stick together to form a ball.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together the ground red meat, ground pork ground bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped basil, garlic and hot pepper flakes.
Step 3: Shape into 4 patties and cook in a large skillet over medium heat, until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
Step 4: In the meantime, mix together the mayonnaise and pesto.
Step 5: Plate a lettuce leaf on each of the bottom buns.
Step 6: Add a cooked burger patty, provolone slice a tablespoon of the mayo/pesto mixture an onion round and to each burger.
Step 7: Add your favourite toppings if you like, add the top bun.
Step 8: Enjoy!
