  • 1/3 cup butter, softened (or margarine)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate chips (morsels)
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Line a 9 inch square pan with foil,with ends of foil coming over the sides of pan and spray with cooking spray.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

  • Step 4: Add eggs and vanilla,mixing well.

  • Step 5: Add flour,baking powder,and salt mixing well.

  • Step 6: Stir in chocolate and pecans.

  • Step 7: Spread onto bottom of prepared pan.(mixture will be slightly thick)

  • Step 8: Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  • Step 9: When brownies have cooled,use foil handles to lift brownies before cutting into squares.
