Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds chicken wings (split)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs (or 6 tablespoons egg whites)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot sauce)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Whisk together the flour, corn starch starch, eggs, soy sauce, oil, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper.

  • Step 2: Add the wings and mix well to coat.

  • Step 3: DEEP FRIED METHOD:

  • Step 4: While you are preparing the wings, pour oil in a large heavy bottomed pot about 2 inches up the sides of pot and theat the oil to 375 degrees fahrenheit .

  • Step 5: With metal thongs, grab the wings one at a time, shaking off the excess coating and drop in the hot oil until cooked through and golden brown, about 15 minutes.

  • Step 6: Remove the wings from the oil with a slotted ladle and place on a plate lined with paper towels.

  • Step 7: Mix together the hot sauce and melted butter in a large bowl and toss with the wings.

  • Step 8: Enjoy!

  • Step 9: ACTIFRY METHOD:

  • Step 10: Take the wings out one at a time, shaking off the excess coating and place in the actifry.

  • Step 11: Cook for about 30 to 35 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through, depending on thickness of wings.

  • Step 12: Mix together the hot sauce and melted butter in a large bowl and toss with the wings.

  • Step 13: Enjoy!
