Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (I used the stuff in the green can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 pound pork loin, cubed
  • 1/4 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 12 ounces dry spaghetti pasta (or Chef's choice of pasta)
  • 1 jar (24 ounce) pasta sauce (I used Sun Dried Tomato & Sweet Basil)
  • Extra Shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Take a gallon size zippered plastic bag and mix well the first 6 ingredients.

  • Step 2: In a medium size bowl,mix together egg and milk.

  • Step 3: Add pork cubes a few at a time to egg mixture making sure pork is coated.

  • Step 4: Add pork cubes to plastic bag and shake until all pork is coated well.

  • Step 5: In a large non stick skillet heat oil until hot but not smoking,add breaded pork and cook until lightly browned.(if some of breading comes off it's o.k.)

  • Step 6: If needed remove extra oil and add spaghetti sauce,making sure pork is coated well with sauce.

  • Step 7: Cover skillet and reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.

  • Step 8: About 15 minutes before pork is cooked through,cook pasta and drain according to directions on package.

  • Step 9: Serve sauce on top of pasta & add optional cheese.
