Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet onion, cut into 1/2 inch dice
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 8 ounces portabello mushrooms, gills removed, cut in 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 pound large white mushrooms, cut in 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 can tomato sauce, 8 ounces
  • 4 large cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoon sherry wine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the onions and rosemary in 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat until lightly browned approximately 10 minutes, remove from pan.

  • Step 2: Add 2 tablespoons oil to the pan, heat, add mushrooms saute until the are browned. 5 minutes Approximately

  • Step 3: Return onions to the pan add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes

  • Step 4: Check your seasoning and serve
