Step 1: Place the trout fillet, skin side down on a double layer of foil that has been coated with olive oil.
Step 2: Pat the top of the filet dry and sprinkle with salt and lemon pepper to taste.
Step 3: Rub the pressed garlic over the top of the trout fillet with the back of a spoon.
Step 4: Sprinkle the chopped green onion over the fillet.
Step 5: Fold the two foil pieces into a packet, making sure the packet is well sealed.
Step 6: Place in a preheated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook for 20 minutes, until fish flakes easily with a fork. The cook time may vary depending on how thick your fillet it.
Step 7: Remove from foil packet and serve with your favourite side.
