Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups dry egg noodles (or pasta, this amount will equal 3 cups cooked)
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/3 cup sweet onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed (or turkey)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (4 ounce) sliced mushrooms (drained)
  • 1/2 cup milk (might need a bit more to get right consistency)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (I used the stuff in the green can)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions,drain and set aside.

  • Step 2: In a skillet large enough to hold everything,melt margarine over medium heat.

  • Step 3: When margarine is melted add onion,cook until slightly softened then add chicken and stir until chicken is well mixed with onion.

  • Step 4: And remaining ingredients including pasta and mix well.

  • Step 5: Stir occasionally and cook until heated through.(this will thicken as it stands,so you might need to add more milk)
