Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces butter (softened to room temperature, one US stick)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • French bread (one large loaf)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Start off by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the loaf of bread in half, lengthwise (horizontally). In a mixing bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and black pepper. It's important to make sure the butter is at room temp so everything will incorporate well. (An electric mixer will be a great tool for this.)

  • Step 2: Spread the butter mixture on both halves of the bread, and place the two halves together, buttered cut sides touching. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Slice, and serve warm.
