  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons currants
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan.

  • Step 2: Add oats and salt, cover, reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add garlic powder and parsley, reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: Stir in walnuts and currants and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 5: Serve topped with feta cheese crumbles.
