Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups of walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups diced or slivered almonds
  • 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup almond meal flour
  • 1 cup applesauce with no added sugar
  • 20 drops of Vanilla Creme liquid stevia
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar , which is low glycemic index
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces fresh finely chopped strawberries or whole blueberries
  • In a separate bowl mix:
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seed meal
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak nuts in filtered water for about 8 hours.

  • Step 2: Rinse and strain. Add to a bowl with the coconut, almond meal, applesauce, stevia, coconut sugar, vanilla and strawberries or blueberries.

  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix chia seed meal, cinnamon and sea salt. Combine the two bowls.

  • Step 4: Dehydrate at about 115 degrees overnight, or until it's dry and crunchy.
