  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 185 grams dry rice (long grain white rice, 1 cup dry)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in saucepan and stir in the sage. Turn off heat and let sit.

  • Step 2: In another sauce pan heat broth to boiling; add rice and lower heat.

  • Step 3: Simmer, covered until rice is tender, 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Step 4: Put rice into serving dish and toss with sage butter and Parmesan.
