Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups water
  • 12 tea bags (herbal blackberry)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks ( 3-inch long)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot, peeled and minced
  • 1 cup cranberry juice (sweetened)
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Crushed ice ( as needed)
  • 6 cinnamon sticks

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat water in a large saucepan to just before boiling. Add tea bags, cinnamon sticks and ginger.

  • Step 2: Remove from heat, cover and let steep for about 15 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add cranberry juice and sugar to taste. Strain tea into a pitcher. Cover and chill overnight.

  • Step 4: Freeze glasses prior to serving, if desired. Pour tea over crushed ice and serve garnished with cinnamon sticks.
