The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tablespoon Creole seasoning
  • Pinch salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 pound crabmeat (lump)
  • 1/8 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 pound cooked fettuccine pasta (or other pasta, cooked)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat butter in a large heavy skillet over medium. After the butter is melted, add the garlic, basil and oregano-saute for one minute.

  • Step 2: Add the cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, creole seasoning and hot sauce. Simmer, whisking often, until the mixture starts to reduce and thicken.

  • Step 3: Add crabmeat and cook for an additional minute.

  • Step 4: Add the pasta and cook until the pasta is heated through.

  • Step 5: Stir in the green onions and parsley-simmer for one more minute before serving.
