The ingredients are:
  • ROSEMARY SYRUP
  • Fresh rosemary, coarsely chopped (4 sprigs, stems and leaves)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • COCKTAIL
  • 2 ounces vodka (or 2 ounces gin)
  • 2 lemon slices
  • Soda water
  • Fresh rosemary (1 sprig)

How to Make

  • To make syrup:

  • Step 1: Place all syrup ingredients into a saucepan and boil 30 minutes.

  • Step 2: Strain and allow to cool completely before use.

  • Step 3: Store in covered container in refrigerator.

  • To make cocktail:

  • Step 4: Place 1 ounce syrup with vodka (or gin) and lemon slices over ice in shaker. Shake well.

  • Step 5: Strain into a rocks glass and add a splash of soda.

  • Step 6: Garnish with rosemary sprig.
