Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Step 2: Mix together the olive oil, broth, garlic and herbs.
Step 3: Toss vegetables in a roasting tray and pour oil mixtures over vegetables.
Step 4: Season with salt & pepper.
Step 5: Cover and place in oven and roast until vegetables are fork tender, 35 to 45 minutes.
Step 6: Add the smoked sausage to the pan and baste with the cooking liquid.
Step 7: Pour the balsamic over the sausage and vegetables and return to the oven uncovered.
Step 8: After 15 minutes turn the sausage and baste again.
Step 9: Return to the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes.
