  • 2 cups whole kernel corn (frozen)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce (I use low-sodium)
  • 1/2 cup dry rice
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 teaspoons thyme (dried)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves (ground)
  • 1 bay leaf

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet brown ground beef, onions and garlic. Drain fat; put beef mixture into slow cooker.

  • Step 3: Cook over low heat 7-9 hours (depending up on your slow cooker).
