Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups fine dry seasoned bread crumbs
  • 6 pork chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons.vegetable oil
  • 6 small potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin
  • 1 large bell pepper cut into strips
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In medium bowl, beat eggs & milk until blended. Place crumbs on waxed paper or in a pie plate. Dip each chop into egg, then in crumbs to coat each side.

  • Step 2: In large skillet (that has a lid), heat oil over medium heat. Add 3 chops & cook until browned on each side. Remove and cooke remaining 3 chops. Remove those and set aside.

  • Step 3: In same skillet, add in potatoes, onions and pepper strips. Season with the salt & pepper. Return chops to the pan on top of the potato mix. Cover and reduce heat to medium low. Cook about 50 minutes.

  • Step 4: Remove chops and keep warm. Raise heat to medium high heat and cook potatoes until browned.
