Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 pork chops (bone-in, do not use the fast-fry)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups salsa (Pace Picante sauce, mild or medium heat)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 medium apples (peeled then medium diced)
  • Olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl combine flour with salt and pepper. then coat the pork with the flour.

  • Step 2: Stir the picante sauce, brown sugar and chopped apple in a medium bowl.

  • Step 3: Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook for 6-8 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Pour off any fat.

  • Step 4: Pour the picante sauce mixture over the pork. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.

  • Step 5: Serve with rice or cooked noodle.
