Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce liqueur, Cointreau,
  • 2 ounces sour mix
  • 2 slices jalapeno (fresh, one red, one green)
  • 10 cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 whole lime

How to Make

  • Step 1: Run the lime half over the rim of a glass and salt the rim.

  • Step 2: Squeeze the lime into a cocktail shaker, add the jalapeno slices and cilantro leaves. Muddle lightly. NOTE: I didn't muddle at all - I thought it would be too spicy. The way I made it had a kick but didn't burn your mouth.

  • Step 3: Add remaining ingredients, add ice and shake for 20 seconds until ice crystals form. Pour into the prepared glass and serve.
