Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 pounds turkey breast (not boned, formed roast)
  • MARINADE
  • 2 whole lemons
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried oregano)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • Salt and pepper ( to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Grate zest from lemons, and juice them.

  • Step 2: Mix zest and juice with remaining marinade ingredients.

  • Step 3: Place turkey in a nonmetallic dish.

  • Step 4: Spoon marinade over turkey, turning to coat breast.

  • Step 5: Cover and refrigerate several hours, or (preferably) overnight.

  • Step 6: To cook, place turkey and marinade in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until tender.

  • Step 7: Serve hot.

  • To use for salads or sandwiches

  • Step 8: Cool; cover and refrigerate.

  • Step 9: Slice or chop.
