Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie crust (softened as directed on box)
  • FILLING
  • 1 can (15 ounce) pumpkin (no pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 can (12 ounce) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or more if you want)
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • STREUSEL
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened (or margarine, softened)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • TOPPING
  • Sweetened whipped cream or frozen Cool Whip whipped topping

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 425°F. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie pan as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie.

  • Step 2: In large bowl, mix filling ingredients until well blended. Pour into crust-lined pan.

  • Step 3: Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F; bake 15 minutes.

  • Step 4: Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix streusel ingredients.

  • Step 5: Remove the pie from the oven then sprinkle streusel over pumpkin filling. Place back in oven and bake 10-15 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

  • Step 6: Cool completely, about 1 hour or more or refrigerate until your ready to serve it.

  • Step 7: Serve pie with topping.

  • Step 8: Store in refrigerator.
